Now that we are sufficiently into the story, It's time to take a peek into the lives of these characters outside the story. If you want to ask one of these characters a question, feel free to do so-it might just give you some hints as to what's to come in future chapters. (note: A=Angela)

A: We're going to start off with our main character! Kanna-chan, you are very athletic, but what are your favorite sports?

Kanna: Oh that's an easy one! I really like swimming because I'm so good at it. I was on a baseball team when I was in elementary school and I like to play basketball with my brother Hikaru. So those are my favorite three, but I like anything where I can compete in.

A: If you were given the chance, would you move out of your current dorm room and move into a single?

Kanna: No way! I've never had a room to myself, I wouldn't know what to do all alone like that. Everything is so much more fun with others so why would I want to be alone in a single?

A:: Anyone looking at your bio will realize that you are a year younger than most high school first years. So why aren't you in a grade lower?

Kanna: I'm not real sure, but I know that I skipped a grade somewhere, because I remember attending only five years of elementary school instead of six. I never really thought to ask before.

A: This next one is a question for Shuichi-kun. We know that you and Kanna-chan have become friends since school started, but it can't all be good. What's the worst thing about having her for a roommate?

Shuichi: She has no sense of privacy. She walks in on me while I'm in the shower or will get changed in the middle of the room without warning me. I keep telling her to stop, but she just says it doesn't bother her because she' was like this with her brothers. So until she learns better, I have to remember to always keep the shower curtain closed.

A: That's a sign that she trusts you, isn't it? But let's move on to your family. Tell us about your two sisters.

Shuichi: Hitomi, who's 14, also likes sports like Kanna, but she's definitely not a tomboy. Last year she made it to the regional championships in tennis. Ichigo, who's 13, is very good at school. The last time she called me, she had made the top ten for the midterm exams.

A: Final question for you, Shuichi-kun. I know that there is a secret reason you're attending Sakura High. Care to share?

Shuichi: If I did that, then it won't be a secret would it? I'm just preparing for my future like every other student.

A: That proves you're hiding something. The next questions are for Ryu-kun. I heard you've lived with your grandparents since elementary school. Where are your parents?

Ryu: They live in Germany. It's no big deal though. They call and write me all the time and my grandparents are great. They own a bed and breakfast and I get to help out during school vacations. It's really fun.

A: Have you ever visited them in Germany?

Ryu: No, but I plan to someday.

A: Now I have a few questions for Keisuke-kun. Is it true that your family is very rich?

Keisuke: Not exceptionally. My father is president of Okuda Industries. It was very productive, but over the years, it hasn't been doing as well. He's currently negotiating a merger with Shijo Inc. If it's successful, we'll be much better off.

A: Sounds so complicated. But here's a bit more of a personal question Keisuke-kun. I've heard a rumor that you have a pretty big crush on somebody. Can you tell us the name of the lucky girl?

Keisuke: You're mistaken. There is no girl I like.

A: Aw, come on. Not even a little hint?

Keisuke: No comment.

A Fine. We'll move on to Dr. Takito. You've been married for five years now. Will you tell us how you met your wife?

Takito: Well, it was so long ago. I don't remember all the details. We started dating shortly after she graduated high school and we got married when she was only a college freshman. I was already a doctor and working at Sakura then. She did go to Ayame. I guess we met because they're sister schools.

A: Why did you decide to work at Sakura High, Dr. Takito?

Takito: Actually, I originally wanted to work at Ayame. I studied adolescent female psychology extensively in medical school, but it was beyond my control and I was hired for Sakura instead.

A: Time to put Hiwatari Izumi in the hot seat. It might be hard for others to believe, but you're actually very smart. You're ranked second amongst the first years! What's your secret?

Izumi: The way you put it makes me feel so embarrassed! I'm not really that smart. I have to study all the time! In junior high, my scores weren't that great, but then I met Keisuke-kun and I just idolized how smart he was that it made me want to be smart too. Even now, Keisuke-kun helps me study for everything. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be ranked this high.

A: You said you idolized Keisuke, but now you make it no secret that you see Kanna-chan as your idol. Why did you switch over?

Izumi: I still look up to Keisuke-kun and he makes me want to push myself to get the best grades, but now he's more my friend. I don't know Hasogawa-san as well, but she's so brave and I'm such a coward. It makes me idolize her so much I want to just be around her and learn from her.

A: And now Toru-kun. You've admitted that you are very nervous around girls. But the truth is that you have three sisters! What's up?

Toru: It's not the same. My oldest sister is ten years older than me. She was married and moved out of the house before I even started junior high. My other two sisters are really young. One is only two and the other is in the second grade. How can that help me with teenage girls?

A: We finally have a question for Hikaru-kun! Everyone has noticed that you are very protective of your little sister Kanna-chan. Is there a specific reason?

Hikaru: Do I have to have a reason? She's my little sister! My only sister. I can't let anything happen to her.

A: What about her time in junior high?

Hikaru: No one is allowed to talk about that.

This concludes the character interviews for now. As more characters are introduced, than one by one they will be put into the hotseat.
